Professor Godfrey Muguti

Professor Muguti occupies the Professorial Chair in the Department of Surgery at the College of Health Sciences, University of Zimbabwe. He is also Clinical  Professor of Surgery in the Department of Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States and Honorary Clinical Tutor at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh.

 

Professor Muguti is the President of COSECSA and Co-Director of the COSECSA - University of Oxford Orthopaedic Link (COOL) Project. He has served as a Commissioner on the Zimbabwe Health Review Commission and Foundation President of the Surgical Society of Zimbabwe. He is past Editor-in-Chief of the Central African Journal of Medicine. His clinical and research interests are in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery.
