Mr Chandaa Shekhar Biyani 

Consultant Urologist & Hon Senior Lecturer

Mr Biyani is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at St. James’s University Hospital, Leeds. Mr Biyani trained in General Surgery in India and Urology training in the UK. Mr Biyani main interests are in minimally invasive surgery, stone disease, benign prostate disorders and general urology. Mr Biyani has published his clinical research in peer-reviewed journals. He is a keen surgical trainer and has delivered courses in the UK, Africa and Europe. He was instrumental in developing National Urology Simulation Boot Camp for new urology registrars in the UK. He is also Co-Lead for the Cadaveric Simulation Centre at the University of Leeds. In 2021, the British Association of Urological Surgeons awarded him the John Anderson Medal for his contributions to Education and Training. Mr Biyani was on the ad-hoc Complications Reporting Panel of the European Association of Urology.
